Security


The device can protect some functional parts as SIM card PIN code, configuration, incoming calls and queries.
To change these security parameters, in the Tools Bar Menu choose Device Configuration / Security . In the opened Security configuration window you can see the PIN code status at the Status .
If PIN code was not entered before, you can enter it by clicking on Enter PIN or PUK code .

You can also activate the password at Security configuration window in Device password table. Simply click the Enter password and fill in the data.
The information field Status will display the password status.

To protect the device from the incoming query in the Tools Bar Menu choose Device Configuration / Security . In the opened Security configuration window click on GSM Security, and check on the Enable SMS Security box
Then enter the phone numbers who can send queries to the device in SMS table. The queries sent from other phone numbers to the device will be ignored.
To add a phone number to the list, click on Add Contact . To delete the phone number from the list, select it and click Delete .

If the list is empty, the device can accept queries from all phone numbers.

To protect the device from the incoming phone calls, in the Tools Bar Menu choose Device Configuration / Security . In the opened Security confoguration window click on GSM Security, and check on the Enable Calls Security box. In the Call table enter the phone numbers that can make phone calls to the device. The rest phone numbers will be automatically blocked.
To add a phone number to the list, click Add Contact . To delete a phone number from the list, select the number and click Delete .

If no phone numbers are added to the list, any phone number can make the phone call to the device.
